Suryaprabha garu; After receiving CCRT scholarship, I was under tutelage of Sangeetha samrat late Sri M S Balasubrahmanya Sarma garu (popularly known as MSBSS) for about 7 years and later on was under tutelage of Sri Akella Mallikarjuna Sarma garu. I did Doploma in Music from Andhra University. Gave concerts till the age of 16 and later on completed my graduation and post graduation in Pharmaceutical sciences and worked as a scientist in various Pharma majors such as Lupin and Novartis. After having worked for about 18 years as a scientist, I have recently quit my job and came back to music field again (I am proud to say that I am a hard core fan of Carnatic classical music). I am presently pursuing under my sister Dr.Swarna Mangalampalli.
